Shelby does not follow the flock, he’d prefer to ride his tractor sewing grains for the harvest. Quite capable as a farm-hand, he is secretly dreaming of a second career as an astronaut.
Living in Northern Idaho there is a lot of agriculture. The canola fields in the spring are bright yellow with electric green alfalfa next door. This piece is inspired by the farmers who work tirelessly to bring in their crops. I have an extremely black thumb when it comes to gardening and growing food so I am grateful for their efforts on my behalf.
