How the Process Works
Set up a FREE Zoom call consultation so I can introduce myself and discuss the details for your one-of-a-kind piece. Send in your brag sheet + preferences
A 50% deposit is due when added to the schedule and is non-refundable once started. I will send weekly progress updates. The piece arrives in a custom shadowbox with a “who’s who” map + hidden treasures guide. Pieces take anywhere from 2-4 weeks to complete. I am the only Artist working on a piece so there is a waiting list.
Brag Sheet
Time to brag about your amazing family! Tell me about every person you want represented in the piece. Share things you love doing together—camping, cooking, boating, game nights, and more. These help shape the theme.
NOTE: I use the activities that match the natural artistic flow of the piece.
Preferances
I can tailor the piece to harmonize with your décor. If you’re comfortable, send a photo of the room where it will hang. This helps determine vertical vs. horizontal layout. Recommendation: I use natural dyes in the wool which will fade over time. Place in a location that is away from sunlight, heat, and fluorescent lighting to prevent fading.
Size & Orientation: Pieces range from Approx. 24–48" tall × 18–48" wide × 4–8" deep. Final size depends on number of people/scenes and the natural artistic flow.
Color Preferences: Do you prefer natural or bold tones? Trees will include greens, browns, and grays to match the natural artistic flow.
Who Is This For? Knowing the recipient helps me tailor the artwork and timing. Is it for a special occasion or specific person? Do you need it by a certain date? If I cannot accommodate your date request, a “Certificate of Creation” is offered if the piece won’t be finished in time. Want to give it as a gift for that special person to customize? I can provide a gift certificate.
Family Tree- Shadowbox
$50 per person for shadow box large tree scenes includes frame, trees, one of a kind embellishments (Mother Nature Example 20 people, 20"high x 36"wide 8"deep cost $1,000; Home Example 13 people, 18" high, 6" deep, 36" wide $650) ) minimum of 10 people. Each piece comes in a shadowbox frame, a map of who is where in the piece so you can share it with them, and a ‘find this’ sheet to help find hidden treasures.
Family Tree- Free Standing
$80 per person for free standing large tree sculptures, comes with base and dimensions for glass case. (glass case not included) (Example: Bible Stories 4' tall, 60 people $4,800).
Family Portrait
$15 per person Family Portrait scene minimum 4, includes individual people custom embroidered, frame, no trees (Family Portrait Example: 22 people, 2 dogs $360).
